If you’re the Shark Tooth Capital of the World, how do you celebrate? You have a shark tooth festival, of course. Venice’s annual Shark Tooth Festival is taking place on April 7th-9th at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds. The location is perfect for the festival since it is right by the city’s best shark tooth hunting beach. Stop by the festival for food, fun, and lots of shark teeth.

What’s Happening at the Festival

The Shark Tooth Festival is packed full of fun for the entire three days. Fossil collectors will bring their shark teeth and other fossils to sell. Plus, artists will sell their original work, so you can get a one-of-a-kind piece at the festival.

While there, you can also enjoy delicious food that ranges from barbecue to seafood. After dinner, the kids can play one of the many games, such as the Shark’s Tooth Scramble. As the kids play, listen to live music from the Gator Creek Band, Glass Onion, The Rockin Rogues, and others. You can also watch the Special Olympics Fishing Presentation from 2 pm on April 8th. This 45-minute demonstration is certain to be a popular event.

Admission Prices

The Shark Tooth Festival is an affordable event. Kids 12 and under get in for free, and adults only have to pay $4. There’s so much fun to enjoy at such a low cost!

Volunteers Welcome

If you want to help out with the festival, you can contact the organizers and let them know. They are looking for people to take three-hour shifts to help out. This is a great way to give back to the community while still attending the festival. Once your shift is over, you can jump back into the fun.

How are you going to get to the Shark Tooth festival? Are you going to go in your current vehicle, or is it time for an upgrade? If you are past due for a vehicle upgrade, you can get just what you need at Venice Honda in Venice, Florida. Take a Fit, Pilot, or another option out for a spin, sign the paperwork, and head to the festival in your new wheels.
